Analysis: Trouble for Both Parties on Campaign Trail

by KYW's Larry Kane

In the campaign, new internal trouble has surfaced for both sides.

In both parties turmoil from within. Hillary Clinton's latest comment that she may take her delegate fight all the way to the Democratic convention is viewed by local insiders as a negotiating tactic for her eventual exit from the campaign.

Clinton insiders think she may be positioning herself to try and join the ticket or perhaps to get Michigan and Fla. delegates seated at any cost

On the Republican side, storm clouds from popular Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.), a close buddy of John McCain, has blasted McCain for his daily assault on Barack Obama's hope to open dialogue with rogue countries. Hagel says it's not right. He believes that we should keep the door open.

He's keeping the door open to a possible endorsement of Obama.
