The two-night finale of American Idol begins on Tuesday night, and a South Jersey woman has been keeping the female contestants looking great.

Blair Levin, who grew up in Cherry Hill, is a 37-year-old stylist who has been deciding what Syesha (in photo above), Carly, Brooke and the rest of the female contestants wear on this season of Idol.

"Every week I get new clothes either with the girls or without the girls. I use showrooms, I use stores. They have a budget and it's pretty tight, they can only spend 'x' amount of dollars each week."

She says it took a while for the girls to trust her judgment and there were times when contestants wanted one look and Blair wanted something else.

Blair spent nearly five years dressing superstar Mariah Carey and has also worked with other stars, magazines and advertising agencies.
