Big Turnout for Vietnam Veterans Race in S. Philly

Some 2,300 people took part in the annual Vietnam Veterans race along Columbus Boulevard Sunday morning.

The race began on time at 9am under sunny skies (see related story). Jim is a veteran of the Vietnam conflict who remembers the many buddies who lost their life in the war:

“It's just great to be here and that what we're here to remember.”

The race proceeds benefit breast cancer research and St.Christopher’s Hospital for children.
