Cat Carriers

If you live with a cat, you realize the importance of choosing a safe, comfortable and durable cat carrier. It’s the mandatory mode of safe transportation for your feline for a multitude of events including trips to the vet, car trips, emergencies, etc., so it’s important to find the right one.  If you have multiple cats, make sure each one has his/her own carrier.

There are many different kinds of carriers from which to choose.  There are hard and soft carriers.  But most importantly, regardless of the type, the carrier should be large enough for your cat to stand up and turn around. Your cat should also be able to lie down comfortably.  But at the same time it shouldn’t be too large. Cats like to feel secure.
   
Hard carriers are durable, extremely sturdy, easy to clean, provide good ventilation, roomy, and may provide a cooler temperature in warmer weather. 
   
Soft carriers can be a little more comfortable, may provide compartments or pockets to store treats, lighter to carry, but may feel hotter in warmer temperatures.  
   
No matter what you choose, make sure it’s safe, comfortable and durable.  But most importantly, make sure it’s a pleasant place for your cat to retreat.
