Chelsea Clinton Campaigns for Her Mom in N. Phila.

by KYW's Mike DeNardo

Chelsea Clinton met commuters in Olney Friday morning, urging them to vote for her mother for President.

"Hi?  How are you?  Nice to meet you."

Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton greeted folks catching the bus and the train at Broad and Olney, encouraging them to support her mom, Senator Hillary Clinton for president:

"Good morning, ma'am.  I'm good, how are you?  I hope you'll support my mom..."

Chelsea didn't speak much, but Mayor Nutter who campaigned alongside her, says the fact that she's here should say enough:

"She knows what her mom stands for. And I think that her presence and participation in the process will energize some voters and get people thinking about supporting Senator Clinton for President."

Chelsea greeted commuters for about 15 minutes, and then was whisked away.
