Delaware Valley News Briefs -- Tuesday

Police in Camden have no suspects or motive an early morning shooting that has left a teenager hospitalized in critical condition at Cooper Medical Center. The incident took place in the 5000 block of Cruz Street. The victim suffered a neck wound.

A state chase following an armed robbery in Wilmington ended along I-95 near Edgemont Avenue in the Chester, Delaware County around midnight. police say a trio of teenagers who robbed a pizzeria on Rosemont Avenue in Wilmington led police north on I-95 across the Pennsylvania state line and ended in Chester when the driver lost control of his car and flipped over on it's roof as it went down an embankment. One teen was taken into custody. Two other teens were hospitalized with multiple injuries. The stolen money and a gun was recovered by police at the accident scene.
 
An unidentified man remains hospitalized with five non-life threatening bullet wounds. Police say the man was shot in an apparent robbery attempt Monday night around 9:00pm. The incident took place outside Danny Boys Bar along Torresdale Avenue in the city's Mayfair section. The wounded man drove himself to the hospital. So far, there are no suspects.
 
Police, paramedics, firefighters, and homicide detectives were called to a wooded area along the 7000 block of Lexington avenue in Northeast Philadelphia where the body of an unidentified man was found following a fire call just before dawn. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Firefighters had been called following a report of a fire to the wooded area along the roadway around 5:30. Upon arrival, they found the burning body and quickly extinguished the small fire. An investigation is underway.
