A real-life drama took place in a Florida courtroom this past weekend. Nick Bollea, the 17-year-old son of wrestler Hulk Hogan, received an eight-month jail sentence for an auto crash that left his close friend, John Graziano, critically injured.
Bollea (above) admitted his fault and pleaded no contest to reckless driving.
Judge Phillip Federeco tacked five years' probation onto the sentence and stripped Bollea of his driving privileges for three years:
"The sentence will begin immediately. He'll be taken into custody. This sentence is designed to punish and to hopefully give him the opportunity to move on with his life."
In a deeply emotional setting, Bollea expressed his deep remorse over the incident to his friend and his friend's family:
"Every day I miss being with John. I miss being around John. I miss laughing at John's jokes. Every single day I think about the accident. I pray for John any chance I get."
