Police were awaiting autopsy results in effort to determine how long a couple had been dead when their bodies were discovered on Monday afternoon around 5pm inside a Kensington house.

The grim discovery was made inside a home along Monmouth Street near Jasper.  Detectives say both the man and the woman had been stabbed to death and both victims were in their 40s. No identity was released as of Tuesday morning.

Police did not recover a weapon, and investigators have ruled out a murder/suicide. So far, police have no motive or suspects.
