A former Bucks County, Pa. man is in jail after he allegedly murdered his roommate over damage to a TV set. (see previous story)
Michael Tuminski, 54, and his roommate Slawek Grabowski, 45, were allegedly involved in an altercation inside their shared home in northeast Maryland.
Officials say Grabowski damaged Tuminski's TV on Sunday, and then the argument turned physical which allegedly resulted in Tuminski hog-tieing Grabowski then beating him and leaving him in the basement where he eventually died.
According to police, Tuminski called his brother and told him to stay home from work on Monday, but didn't say why. He drove to the Morrisville, Pa. home with Grabowski's body in the trunk of his car.
After he arrived, Tuminski explained what happened in Maryland and that Grabowski's body was in the trunk. The brother immediately called police who found the body and arrested the suspect.
Tuminski was held without bail pending extradition back to Maryland. |
