A former swim coach at a Montgomery County, Pa. high school is expected to be arrested and charged this afternoon in connection with a sex scandal involving a student at the school.

Montgomery County prosecutors will have more to say about the case and the charges at a 2pm news conference.

KYW Newsradio has learned that the male coach will be charged with solicitation and other sex-related crimes for allegedly offering the 9th-grade student money in exchange for sex.

Sources say the suspect coached the girl’s swim team during the just-completed swim season and the alleged incidents occurred last month. Sources say he’s no longer employed by the school district.
