To celebrate the FBI's 100th birthday, the Philadelphia office is opening it's doors to the public for the first time. If you want to go, show up at the Federal Building at 600 Arch Street with a photo ID.
Special Agent Jerri Williams says the doors will be open on Tuesday, July 22nd from 11:00am until 7pm and Wednesday, July 23
rd from 9:00am until 2:00pm:
"This is a unique opportunity for people to come in and look as displays and demonstrations."
Williams realizes the first thought that comes to people's minds when they think of the FBI is secret agent:
"And we're not secret. We work for the people. We serve the American people, so we want to be open to them. Let them come in and have a great time!"
Children will be able to take a picture dressed as an FBI agent. As for adults who watch crime fighting TV shows like CSI -- if you want to know what law enforcement tactics are real and what's not, here's your chance to ask an agent.
