Six-time us figure skating champion Todd Eldredge goes country this week, when he and others perform during a live exclusive to Philadelphia concert with country music star Gretchen Wilson.
When Gretchen Wilson ponies up to the stage, or the rink at the Wachovia Center Wednesday night, she'll perform a 12-song set, according to the former Olympian, Todd Eldredge:
“she's bringing her lights, sound and band inside the rink. And we'll skate to her songs.
(Tawa:) “In Olympic competition, every minute beat of the music you chose is choreographed to jumps and spins. Country music has a different beat than Tchaikovsky or Gershwin:”
“You have to be pretty versatile. I'm going to be skating to 'Politically Incorrect,”
(Tawa:) “That’s the Merle Haggard one?”
“Yes”
