What do a top family lawyer and a former Eagle player made famous in a movie have in common?
They'll both be serving Thanksgiving dinner in South Jersey to National Guard troops who are waiting to be shipped out for active duty.
He's the president of the Camden County Bar:
"When we are at war, whether we like the war or not, we support our troops."
He was portrayed by Mark Wahlberg in the movie Invincible:
"Whether you believe in what we're doing overseas is right or wrong, you have to believe in these men and women because they're laying it on the line for us."
When organizer Eric Spevak (right) asked ex-Eagle Vince Papale (above) to serve the turkey and the stuffing, he signed right up.
This year's out of town troops are from Illinois and Rhode Island. Spevak knows what they're going through:
"I have children in college and when anybody has children in college and they don't see their kids for a couple months, think how you feel and think about those families who are missing their loved ones for up to fourteen months."
But they won't go hungry or unappreciated on Thanksgiving thanks to Spevak and company.
