Ten-year-old E'Vazsa (ee-vay-zhuh) wants to be a pediatrician when she grows up:
"Because I want to help people like if they're sick."
She's also the consummate performer:
"I like to sing and dance around my room."
She loves spending time with her younger sister, and hopes the two of them can be adopted together into a loving home:
"We just play a lot."
(Kane:) "Do you take care of her or does she take care of you?"
(E'Vazsa:) "Both. She kind of looks after me and I kind of look after her sometimes."
(Kane:) "That's the way it should be, right? Because you are the family."
(E'Vazsa:) "Yes."
Her social worker, Jacqueline Cassidy, says that right now E'Vazsa and her sister live in separate homes:
"She makes sure to ask me every time she sees me about her sister. She wants to take care of Lamonne even though they're not together."
