A Holiday Gift for Gardeners

by KYW's Fran Sorin

There are plenty of excellent holiday gifts for gardeners but there is one in particular that I find to be especially meaningful.

Too many of us gardeners scrimp on ourselves when it comes to purchasing gardening gloves, using only inexpensive ones that rarely even last a season.

A durable, well-crafted pair of gardening gloves can become a longtime friend of a keen gardener, much like gardeners’ tools.

One brand that has caught my eye this year is West County Gloves (www.westcountygardener.com) These gloves are made of high tech material, have padded synthetic suede palms, are machine washable, have an adjustable wrist tab and are breathable and flexible.

The colors of the gloves are elegant and stylish and come in Women’s and Men’s sizes. Styles offered are Landscape, Classic, Rose, Waterproof or Work Glove.
