Job interviews were on tap Wednesday for the three candidates who want to be CEO of the Philadelphia School District (see previous stories).
All three candidates were having closed-door job interviews before School Reform Commission members, and the district's CEO search advisory committee.
First up, is Dr. Arlene Ackerman, former superintendent of the Washington, DC and San Francisco school districts.
Dr. Kent McGuire, dean of Temple University's college of education is the second candidate.
And the final interview goes to former Edison Charter Schools president and educational consultant, Dr. Leroy Nunery.
The School Reform Commission expects to narrow down its search to a single candidate by early February.
