Faith in Philadelphia: Catholic Schools Week

by KYW's Nancy Griffin

It’s officially Catholic Schools Week and a Wyncote school is getting a visit from Philadelphia's newest Cardinal.

English Teacher David Horn says Bishop McDevitt High School in Wyncote will get a visit by one of the church's top brass:

"His Eminence John Cardinal Foley will be the keynote speaker. For more than 24 years he was the Director of Social Communication for the Vatican."

Principal Rosemary Naab is expecting 200 people at Tuesday's event:

"The whole issue of ethics and the Internet is what he will be discussing. And in the age of MySpace and Facebook these are certainly very important questions our students have to deal with."

Senior Victoria DiCamillo:

"I believe that as Catholics we have to be leaders in our own world and by hearing this message and by absorbing it we will then become the leaders that will forge the way."
