Wednesday’s weather might make you think spring, but a show in Atlantic City, NJ can get you to ponder summer. The Atlantic City International Power Boat Show was opening at 11am and runs through Sunday.
If you’re in the market for a boat, now's the time to shop. Yeah, I know that sounds like a sales pitch, but you don’t have to break the bank to do it. Just ask show manager John Pritko:
"We go from a few hundred dollars for a kayak up to… you can get a boat, motor and trailer package for around $10,000. So it’s very family friendly and affordable."
(Madden): "But you could!"
"For the big hitters, we go all the way up to 1.5 million."
Not to mention all the extras from GPS systems to jewelry. That’ll keep the wife occupied. There are games for the kids, a couple celebrity appearances, the Eagles’ Omar Gaither is due there on Thursday. There’s even a salute to the Steel Pier, past and present.
It can almost make you forget it’s February. Almost.
