The Philadelphia region's top advertisers were honored last night at the annual Addy Awards ceremony.
Hundreds of entries were submitted but only a handful of agencies were recipients of the Philly Ad Clubs highest honor.
One winner was produced by the Brownstein Group for the Children's Hospital Foundation and Vice President Joe Weinlick says kids were the stars:
"Using children in the ad was something we really wanted to do. I think there's an immediate resonance. You can hear the kids and at the end of the day it's kind of that that people are left with more than perhaps the individual message. The kids really shine and that enabled us to get it across."
From the touching to the absurd, Tierney Communications took home an Addy for a radio campaign that featured a job hunting chicken and lobster.
