Phila. DA Lynne Abraham Kicks Off Her New Radio Show

by KYW's Jim Melwert

Philadelphia district attorney Lynne Abraham debuted her new radio show on our sister station, WPHT-AM, the big talker 1210.

In her debut show on the big talker on Monday night, Philadelphia DA Lynne Abraham (file photo above) covered everything from the race for the White House to the Elliot Spitzer alleged prostitution scandal (read AP story).

"I watched his wife -- just as I watched Dina Mattos McGreevey. You couldn't get me to stand next to my husband. (laughs)"

Jokes aside, Abraham says the show gives people a chance to address important issues anonymously:

"Talking to an elected official and saying now what about this or what about that. It's the elected official that's on the line, not the caller. And that's what makes it really interesting and important."

Abraham's show is planned for the second Monday of every month.
