Spring is here. It's time to clean out the garage, the attic and more.
It's also a good time to spring clean up your attitude. The days are getting warmer with more daylight and that should make you feel better and happier.
Dr. David Baron, Chairman of Psychiatry at Temple University School of Medicine says it's time to put away those negative thoughts:
“I think it's really a matter of changing one's mindset, saying isn't it terrific that we're into the springtime and all the activities that go along with that, and positively planning and anticipating an enjoyable next part of the calendar.”
He also suggests changing your habits to help you embrace this more hopeful attitude; take a walk after dinner, go out into the garden and enjoy the emerging flowers and remember this is a season of re-birth and renewal. And that should include the way we think about each other and the world.
