South Jersey firefighters will shave their heads next weekend to support kids living with pediatric cancer.
John Samas, a volunteer firefighter in Collingswood, New Jersey, says he usually keeps his hair short but he's grown out what he can for next Sunday's Saint Baldrick's event.
Donations are being given to the men - a lot of Collingswood firefighters - women, and children who are willing to shave their heads bald:
"We're offering solidarity for children who might be going through cancer therapies. It's a great way to go and show that we care and it's a great way to go and raise money for a wonderful cause."
Samas says they hope to raise $75,000. The event is Sunday, March 30th, at the Scottish Rite Ballroom on White Horse Pike in Collingswood, beginning at 11am.
