A lot of the fun of the Super Bowl is scoring the ads, and a Pennsylvania firm runs a web site that allows you to compare your results with others.
Brew ads are Super Bowl staples:
"...It's the new look of light beer!"
In a high stakes game...
"...Ooh, late hit!"
...of trying to get your attention and business.
Mary Pedersen helps run spotbowl.com, where viewers can rate the Super Bowl ads -- which this year will cost $2.6 million for 30 seconds air time.
She says the site's all-time highest rated spot was something of a counter play:
"The entire airport into which these troops returning home were walking was very silent. You know, here we're hearing lots of music, lots of laughing, funny jokes. Even in the room around you and Anheuser Busch stopped all of that to honor the troops."
Commercial rating can be done until 5pm the day after the big game, when a new spotbowl.com champion will be crowned.
