A recent study found that people who buy more than three pairs of sneakers a year are 61% more likely to have the qualities of a modern leader.
What do your shoes say about you?
The TV show ''Sex and the City'' (cast above) really helped highlight the importance of shoes. Kristen is the manager of Head Start shoes in Philadelphia. She says what you choose conveys a message:
"A heel automatically to me resembles power. In a heel you feel taller, stronger. And a flat always says 'I'm comfortable with who I am.'"
Friends Roslyn, Janelle, and Michele were shopping for shoes:
"I'm looking for cowboy boots."
(Durham): "What does that say about your personality?"
"I like to ride horses."
Janelle prefers Mary Janes. And Michele?
"I like Prada so that's my favorite designer. I love the style, the sole. These are a classic, it's hard to find blue suede shoes."
I won't step on them!
