Mayor Nutter says Philadelphia reaped a giant international public relations bonanza during the just completed Democratic primary battle.
Mayor Nutter believes the biggest victory on Tuesday was not Clinton's, but Philadelphia's:
"We could never afford that kind of advertising, that kind of goodwill."
He's talking about global coverage of Philadelphia in the past six weeks, with Nutter himself on national and international television and radio countless times.
And the Mayor says reporters who came here from around the globe were thrilled:
"So many journalists commented either that they hadn't been to Philadelphia in a long time, or hadn't been to Philadelphia at all, and (said they) didn't realize how great a city we have."
Nutter also doesn't mind the extra tax revenues from the bar tabs of the reporters.
