Eleven-year-old Bryant is a straight-A student, and he's mindful of his responsibilities:
(Kane:) "So tell me, it's Saturday morning, no school. You wake up, what do you want to do?"
(Bryant:) "First, I have to do my chores. I have to dust off the downstairs, then I have to do the bathroom downstairs, then I have to vacuum."
Bryant has a wonderful smile and it won't be long before he's melting hearts:
(Bryant:) "There's one girl I like, but she didn't tell me that yet."
(Kane:) "So you have to sort of wait on that, right?
(Bryant:) "Yup."
(Kane:) "That's always an issue you know. Have you told her anything?"
(Bryant:) "No."
(Kane:) "A little nervous about that?"
(Bryant:) "Yeah."
(Kane:) "I can see that."
His family recruiter, Tamara Reddick, says Bryant needs a permanent family as soon as possible so he can get the answers kids need as they grow up:
"If he's not comfortable enough to discuss those things, then he may do something that's inappropriate because he doesn't know. Or he may ask the wrong person. If we could find a home for him now and he could feel comfortable and loved, he could ask all the questions that he needs to get out, and he would grow up and be a nice loving, young man like he is now."
