The remains of Philadelphia's only Vietnam-era medal of honor recipient are now among America's heroes. The ceremony took place on Tuesday:
Army private Michael Crescenz was only 19 when he gave his life for his country, shot and killed in combat in 1968. His parents wanted him closer to home, and had him buried in Cheltenham, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Since their death, his brothers, like Charles, and others worked to move Crescenz to Arlington National Cemetery:
"He's where he belongs now, with all the other heroes from our country."
The day-long procession from the funeral home in Downingtown to Washington, D.C. and onto Virginia is their brave brother's final journey, says Joe:
"A lot of honor, honored people here. I'm just happy that our brother's part of it."
Crescenz's squad leader Jim Willard was there to give him the recognition he's long deserved:
"I was honored to have been his squad leader, and I'm honored to give his family support and say, 'hey, we loved him,' and he was a great soldier."
