7 Taken to Hospital after School Bus Crash in NE Phila.

by KYW's Ian Bush

Seven people, including four children, were taken to a hospital Wednesday afternoon after an accident involving a school bus and another vehicle this afternoon in the city's Northeast.

But officials say no one was seriously hurt.

It happened near the intersection of Woodhaven and Thornton Roads around 2:30pm.

Police say a sedan collided with a bus carrying four pre-K students from the private Special People in Northeast school.

The school bus then went off the road and crashed into a tree.

The victims were taken to Frankford-Torresdale Hospital, where they're said to be OK.

Authorities were still investigating.
