The Philadelphia Museum of Art -- Fun All Summer Long

by KYW's Lauren Lipton

If you're staying close to home this summer but want to see things that are out of this world, why not visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art?

"There's always a lot going on at the art museum. There's always something to see, to discover -- art from every continent spanning 2,000 years."

Gail Harrity is chief operating officer and says you should come and join the fun:

"A jazz program every Friday night. If you have a family with young children, there are programs every Sunday.  This summer we'll have an exhibition of Alexander Calder jewelry.  If you plan on staying closer to home this summer, you too can travel the world by just coming to the Philadelphia Museum of Art."
