Two trucks stolen from the Delaware Food Bank on Saturday are back in Newark, New Jersey and food bank officials say most of the 57,000 pounds of chicken inside is still edible.

Delaware state police corporal Jeff Whitmarsh says his department was notified by Jersey City, NJ police that the two tractor-trailer trucks from the Delaware Food Bank (see related story) had been found.
He says they were found somewhere in Jersey City about 3am on Wednesday morning, still loaded with chicken and with the engines still running. He said a Jersey City resident had phoned in a tip after seeing a news broadcast about the theft.
The food bank's director of development, Anne Killeen, says she's touched by the way people responded to the theft:
"We had a great outpouring of support from the community and countrywide and I really think that that contributed to our getting our trucks back."
Killeen says the thieves apparently did keep the trucks' refrigeration units on and most of the chicken remained frozen solid.
Police had no immediate suspects and indicated the investigation was still in high gear.
