Philadelphia accident investigators say a 39th district patrol car and a bread truck collided  around 3:30am on Thursday.

The crash occurred near Pulaski and Coulter Streets in the city's Germantown section. 

Both the officer and at least one civilian were being evaluated at local hospitals. Injuries appeared to be limited to bumps and bruises.

 



 

A Southampton, Pa. garage fire along Manor Lane was quickly extinguished on Wednesday night, but two men who had been working inside were injured.

The fire broke out around seven o'clock. The cause was not known as of 6:30am on Thursday.

One man suffered severe burns. He was under treatment at Temple University Hospital's Burn Center and a second man was hospitalized at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.

There was no immediate word on their conditions. 



A home along the unit block of Winter Road in Northampton Township (Bucks County), New Jersey was the scene of an early morning fire on Thursday.

The blaze was reported around 1am. Firefighters quickly contained and controlled the fire. No one was hurt and everyone evacuated safely. There was no immediate word on a cause.
