Police confirmed a small, short-lived power outage at Philadelphia International Airport around five o'clock on Wednesday morning.
The brief outage, apparently caused by a tripped circuit breaker, lasted just slightly over five minutes. Power was transferred to another circuit and quickly restored.
Airport police say some early morning travelers were briefly held back at security check points while the problem was corrected but all was quickly back-to-normal.
Peco Energy reported no major interruptions to their major power lines serving the airport facility.
