KYW Newsradio 1060 has received the following community cancellations and postponements for Saturday, September 6th, based on the expected rains and high winds associated with tropical storm Hanna.
Angel Flight has canceled Saturday's "Wings N Wheels" event at Wings Field in Blue Bell, Pa., due to poor weather conditions.
Fox Hollow Swim Club in Cherry Hill, NJ has postponed Saturday's "Laps for Life" fundraiser until Sunday at 12 noon.
Friends of Gorgas Park in Roxborough is postponing Saturday's "Community Day" fair until Sunday.
The "Hero Thrill Show" (above) benefiting the scholarship fund for families of police and firefighters killed in the line of duty, originally scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed until Saturday, September 20th, from 12 noon to 5pm. Tickets bearing the date of September 6th will be honored on the 20th.
The community parade and antique car show, part of Kennett Square, Pa.'s Mushroom Festival, has been postponed from Saturday to Sunday at 10am. Indoor and covered events will take place as originally scheduled.
Tullytown Borough's annual picnic, scheduled for Saturday at 2pm, is postponed until Sunday at 2pm due to the expected rain.
