Online Weight Loss Challenge Comes with Great Jeans

by KYW’s Karin Phillips

A celebrity stylist and a cereal company are asking women to drop a jean size for charity.

Celebrity stylist Robert Verdi is joining with Kellogg's in a national charity to benefit the United Way. Verdi says those who go to Special K @ yahoo can participate in a weight management program that will help those interested drop a jean size in two weeks:

“And then, once you do that, you'll have jeans that don't fit you. And in especially marked boxes of Special K, you can convert them to a mailer and donate your old jeans to benefit the United Way. Yeah, it's really great. It's a great way to look good, do good and feel good.”

There's also a celebrity jean auction underway on E-Bay where you can buy the old jeans of those like Eva Longoria, Cindy Crawford and others through September 12th. And when you buy your new jeans to replace the ones you donate, Verdi suggests a natural fit, boot cut with a very dark indigo color.
