Constitution Center Opens New Presidential Exhibit

by KYW's Karin Phillips

A new exhibit at the National Constitution Center outlines the process of becoming the nation's chief executive.

"Headed to the White House" is an interactive exhibit created by the National Constitution Center that outlines the steps take to become the nation's chief executive. Visitors can chose their own parties, run their own campaigns, and even have their own presidential photo op.

Joseph Torsella (right) is president and CEO of the Constitution Center:

"This is going to be an effective exhibit and I also think it's a fun exhibit.  And it has a sense of excitement and celebration that campaigns have."

Andy Card was former White House Chief of Staff under George W. Bush:

"Congress created almost every bureaucracy that there is in this government.  But they don't create the White House."
