Atlantic City, NJ is about to be wiped off the Monopoly map, and city officials are not happy about it. The Convention and Visitors Authority is launching a petition drive to keep Boardwalk as a landmark on the new version of Monopoly.
One man said he wouldn’t mind some tweaking of the game but believes the new “Here and Now” version of the game should at least include the boardwalk as a landmark.
Hasbro, the game's manufacturer, announced that it will launch a new version of the popular game featuring landmarks from throughout the US.
Rally organizers say they’ll have a giant petition for people who want to keep Atlantic City on the new version of the board game to sign. If you can’t get to the rally, the petition can also be signed by visiting
