Watching the television broadcast of the Phils in the World Series would be so much better if you could listen to the local radio guys. Well, there are ways to make that happen.
You'd much rather listen to Harry Kallas, Scott Franskie and the others on the Big Talker,1210 WPHT -- our sister radio station. With the TV broadcast you get the national commentators, but the radio signal and the TV broadcast don't match and the delay is annoying.
Rich Barnett president of Scanner Master Corporation has come up with the SportsSync:
“It's an actual radio, a small transistor radio with a slider bar where you can adjust the delay from one to 8-seconds.”
He says it only takes a pitch or two to get it right. Unfortunately it's all sold out now, but you can get one in time for next season. WPHT does sync its broadcast to Comcast digital.
