New Game Focuses on the Bible

by KYW's Nancy Griffin

There's a new board game with religious players in mind. Creator Wesley Sampson says players don't need have any prior bible knowledge just a hunger for learning.

"Inheritance is a Christ-centered board game that's designed for Christian families and it teaches the seven pillars of wisdom as God revealed them to King Solomon."

And how do you play?

"Similar to Monopoly it's a property trading game however, unlike Monopoly where the objective is to accumulate wealth the objective in this game is to care for the poor."

Kids in middle school think it might be the kind of game where everyone wins:

"I think it would be interesting because you actually learn like about God and playing board games."

"I go to church on Fridays and sometimes we play board games and we try to spin it a little more biblical so this would be really good."

"I think they should have them in Sunday school because sometimes Sunday school is pretty boring and this would be a creative way to have fun and learn about the bible."
