If you’ve been wondering "When is it his turn," it‘s now, thanks to a Chester County potato chip maker.
Herr's potato chips have been around for 60 years and president Ed Herr says for many of those years customers have been asking, "What about His?"
“We decided to roll it out for Father's Day. It will be on the shelves until June 18th. If it's successful, we'll keep it on the market.”
The "His" chips will be sold in 11½-ounce blue bags and only come in the regular flavor.
Herr says a portion of the proceeds will benefit the National Fatherhood Initiative, which works to increase the number of children growing up with involved, committed fathers.
