TyLeah

by KYW's Larry Kane
Produced by Jim Melwert

TyLeah (above right) is 13 years old and says it is very important for her to be adopted with her big sister, Donna (above left).

(Kane:)  "Do you guys get along well?
(TyLeah:)  "Yes."
(Donna:)  "Yes."
(Kane:)  "Are you close?"
(TyLeah:)  "Yes."
(Kane:)  "Tell me what you mean by close, you tell each other..."
(TyLeah:)   "Almost everything."
(Donna:)  "Almost."
(Kane:)  "What don't you tell each other?"
(TyLeah:)  "Nothing."

TyLeah likes to draw, sing, and talk to her friends.

(Kane:)  "What do you talk to your friends about?"
(TyLeah:)  "Their day and what's going on."
(Kane:)  "So you're the kind of person that's on the phone a lot?"
(TyLeah:)  "Yeah."

She likes scary movies and hopes to be a lawyer when she grows up.

(Kane:)  "So you want to go to college?"
(TyLeah:)  "Yes."
(Kane:)  "How are your grades?"
(TyLeah:)  "My grades are good."

TyLeah's sister Donna -- who we'll meet next week -- describes her younger sister this way:

"Very beautiful.  I think she has pretty eyes and a pretty smile.  Smart and funny."
