As they do every month in Doylestown and elsewhere, they are marking "First Friday" this week.
And the Hepatitis B Foundation of Pennsylvania is using the event to spread the word about the disease.
First Friday in Doylestown will be a day of special events and performances for residents and families. It's also a day for the Hepatitis B Foundation to spread the word about a chronic health problem that affects one in 20 Americans and is the leading cause of liver cancer.
Peggy Farley is with the Hepatitis B Foundation:
"Someone you know has been touched by this serious liver disease. It can be prevented, there's a vaccine. And we want to make sure that people are aware of that. Especially the older generation. As we travel more and the world is becoming smaller and smaller, you're exposed to it more than you realize."
