He didn't start out as a Philadelphia boy, but he certainly is one now.
"I love Philadelphia and I've lived here my whole adult life."
Tony Fisher came from Tennessee, went to college at La Salle University, and along with silent partner Jonathan Shames has just opened up a second Big Green Earth Store, on South Street.
"We have the solar-powered personal electronics chargers, handbags that are made out of woven rice sacks, recycled magazines, homewares that are made out of recycled yogurt cups, razors, toothbrushes."
The first store opened close to a year ago in Old City (above), and they're hoping to take them national.
"We have reusable produce bags. Produce bags that are used at the grocery stores, that's what the sea turtles eat because they look like jellyfish. One of our most popular items is our refilling station. You can bring your own bottles and fill them with Sun and Earth products, which are locally produced, and they're all natural."
This woman from North Carolina had bought a soda at her hotel:
"I came in the store looking to see if there was a place to recycle my Sierra Mist can."
She was in luck. They'll recycle your lunch, your phone, even your eyeglasses. Customer Heidi Kurtz says her five-year-old is already walking the walk:
"He was telling me, 'We throw away too much stuff, because all it does is go to landfills.' We try to be very conscientious in our house."
And that's Positively Philadelphia!
