The Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia wants to hear from you if you know someone who makes a difference in children's lives.
Individuals and organizations with ties to the Greater Philadelphia region dedicated to enriching the lives of children, are eligible for the 14th Annual Great Friend to Kids Award. Nancy Kolb is the president and CEO of The Please Touch Museum:
"We will be recognizing three individuals/organizations and we are actively soliciting nominations from the public and we are particularly anxious to recognize a young person. We think a lot of kids today are doing wonderful work with community service and we would like to recognize them."
Past winners include the Philadelphia Eagles, Alex Scott - the founder of Alex's Lemonade stand, and The Mural Arts Program.
The winners get a work of art made by Philadelphia Sculptor Leo Sewell.
Deadline for submissions is July 6th.
