The national conversion to digital television on Friday went off without a hitch, for most of us. But there are some issues for those who are getting their TV over the air, as opposed to cable or satellite.
The FCC has recieved quite a few calls, according to spokesman Dave Dumbrowski:
"We are getting a lot of calls about reception issues, people losing some of the lower channels such as 6 and 12, and we're trying to work through those problems with them."
Channels 6 and 12 in Philadelphia are broadcasting on VHF as compared to the other over the air stations which are on UHF.
If you're having problems, make sure you have the right kind of antenna, and that your converter box is hooked up properly. And you may need to move that antenna around.
