Body of Second Kayaker Drowned in Brandywine Creek is Recovered

by KYW's Al Novack

Chester County authorities confirm that a body recovered from the Brandywine Creek this past Saturday was that of a missing kayaker.

Chad Miller, 34, an associate pastor at a Westminster Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, went kayaking last Tuesday with his 28-year-old  brother Christopher following  some thunderstorms that swept through the region, swelling the creek.

Both men disappeared in the creek. The body of Christopher Miller was recovered the same day.

The grim discovery of Rev. Miller's body was made on Saturday by a family who had been picnicking along the Brandywine Creek in Birmingham Township (Chester County), near Rt. 926.
