Danny Bonaduce, of 94 WYSP, grew up with Jackson and attended school with the King of Pop.
While doing his morning show on Friday, Danny Bonaduce told me he's known Michael since he was five-years old:
"I went to school with him all through high school. I saw him every day, 10 times a day."
He remembers Michael's appearance on the TV show Soul Train when host Don Corneliuous asked him if he went to school with any other celebrities:
"And he said Danny Bonaduce, and Don said, 'What's he like?' and Mike said, 'He gets in a lot of fights and the teachers hate him.' So I went to school and I said, 'Michael! Get out here! I wanna kick some Jackson butt!'"
Danny thought twice about it though, and he remembered Michael had several brothers. Danny was asleep when he awoke to Thursday's sad entertainment news:
"My fiancee woke me up to say, 'You're not gonna believe this. Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett are both dead.' And I didn't believe it."
Michael and Danny are both 50 -- Danny says Michael died far too early in life.
