Girl, 7, Dies After Being Struck By Car in Mayfair

A 7-year-old Northeast Philadelphia girl is dead after she was struck by a car on Tuesday evening.
The girl was playing along the 2900 block of Unruh Street in Mayfair around 6pm with other children -- including her brother -- when police say she ran out between cars.
That's when a pickup truck hit the girl.
She was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, where she was pronounced dead.
No charges have been filed against the driver, who police say stopped at the scene and was cooperative.
