One of the sweetest events of the holiday weekend is underway at Penns Landing.
Folks down here at Penns Landing are getting their fill of ice cream this holiday weekend:
Kuznits: "What flavors did you eat?"
"Chocolate, cookies and cream, vanilla."
"Cookies and cream, lemon water ice, and I had this banana and strawberry."
They're enjoying the 11th annual Super Scooper all you can eat ice cream festival benefiting childhood leukemia. It's in memory of Joshua Kahn, who passed away 12 years ago. Jeff Kahan is his father:
"This is an opportunity to come down to Penns Landing during the weekend, pay $5, smile with your family, have a lot of fun, eat some sweet treats and help children with leukemia."
Kuznits: "What a nice way to remember him."
"We remember him every day. But now, this is a way for everybody to remember him."
The festival runs through Sunday:
Kuznits: "Do you have room for more?"
"Yes!"
Kuznits: "A lot more?"
"Yes!"
