Montgomery County authorities are investigating the deaths of two people found inside a home Friday morning in the Erdenheim section of Springfield Township.
Police say they got a 9-1-1 call shortly before seven o’clock from a man inside the house in the 900 block of Bent Lane. When they arrived they found a 30-year-old woman and her three-year-old son dead in the master bedroom of the house. District attorney Risa Ferman says a homicide investigation is now underway and they are waiting for autopsy results…
“Based on information that was gathered at the scene and evidence that was gathered at the scene investigators have a very strong reason to believe that this will ultimately be ruled a murder-suicide.”
She would not talk about whether any notes were left in the house. She says investigators are talking to family members to learn more about what may have been going on in the house.
