For those of you wondering what's up with Philadelphia Inquirer golf writer Joe Logan after his retirement from the newspaper business, here's your answer:
"MyPhillyGolf - dot - com"
The new web site hosted by Logan (above) has news, course reviews, discussion boards -- all standard fare for many golf sites. But the big difference, he says, is the local angle:
"What I really like about this web site is that it can be so interactive. Golfers can go onto the discussion boards and talk about where they like to play, where they don't like to play, what courses are in good condition.
"I really want this web site to exist at sort of the crossroads of public and private golf in Philadelphia, because they're both healthy, thriving communities with their own constituencies. But there's a large overlap of all things golf. And that's what this web site will be."
That web site, again, is myphillygolf.com.
